AKIM Israel is the largest and most comprehensive provider of programs and services for the intellectually disabled population – regardless of their faith, ethnic background or sex. A few AKIM branches are located among The Israeli Arab populated areas.

What's New at AKIM

During Protective Edge operation (summer 2014), after many weeks under rockets, mortars and fire, AKIM Israel brought some relief to 300 families with medium and severe developmentally disabled children, by temporarily relocating them from their homes near Gaza Strip to some hotels and resort areas near Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee.
